Noor grew up in a Christian family but never found answers to her questions about God, which left her feeling lost and confused for many years. Her mental health deteriorated until she was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and OCD, and she reached a point where life felt meaningless and she even thought about ending it. She later met a respectful Muslim man who, one day, recited the Qur’an for her. She burst into tears, feeling something touch her heart for the first time. One night, when her fear and pain became unbearable, she sincerely called out to God, asking Him to save her from her suffering. Shortly after, another Muslim contacted her, gently encouraging her to learn about Islam and reassuring her that God loves her. That same night, Noor declared the Shahada with a sincere heart and immediately felt a deep peace she had never experienced before. She began learning how to pray and attending lessons, and from that moment, her life completely changed. She recovered from depression without medication and finally found true tranquility through her closeness to God.
